As part of our continuous support to local communities, HMC Polymers recently sponsored a fund to the Habitat for Humanity Thailand. HMC President Khun Martyn Tickner, and Khun Sawangpong Kingsuwanvong, VP Manufacturing, donated 250,000 Bhat to Khun Timothy Loke, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Thailand.

The contribution is utilized by Habitat for Humanity for its house building project for those in need and has been made by HMC for 12 consecutive years since 2005. In addition, HMC also assists this community initiative with employee volunteers who donate their time and expertise in the construction of housing.

This year, the house building activity took place during 26-27 August, 2017 at Chaklookya East Community, Maptaphut, Rayong. Khun Teerawar Sudsook, Vice Rayong Governor directed the event together with Mr. Timothy Loke, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Thailand and Khun Sawangpong Kingsuwanvong, VP Manufacturing of HMC Polymers.

Over 20 volunteers came together to assist the building of a house for local resident Khun Lamyong Thongdee. We thank those involved and look forward to further participation in this worthy program for the Rayong community.
